Dr Das had a friendly, professional approach and fully explained what to expect prior, during and following the anaesthetic. He also allowed time for any questions that I had.
I explained that after previous operations I had woken with extreme sickness which caused the added complication of severe migraine. Philip Das managed somehow to avoid this situation and, for that, I was most grateful. He has a calm and quiet manner which instilled a feeling of confidence in me. He was very careful in attaching the cannula and this has left very little in the way of bruising. Altogether a really good doctor.
Dr Philip Das was very thorough with over seeing my operation and I felt at ease with him and the team. He was concerned about how I felt and if I had any questions and he listened well to what I said if I didn't hear what he said which could mean that Dr Philip Das could improve upon the way he delivers his communication; e.g. talk louder, clearer?
On the day of my operation I was nervous but I was made to feel at ease, even though I've had a few operations now and kinda know the drill Philip explained every step until I was put to sleep! Brilliant doctor.
I had a total knee replacement this morning and had the great privilege of seeing the whole thing on a TV screen. This incredible experience was made more so by the extreme care , respect and dignity afforded to me by Dr. Philip Das, Mr. Clifton and a wonderful team.
Dr.Das ensured I was comfortable, informed me of each step of the procedure (both in the anaesthetic area and in theatre) and answered my questions fully. He also demonstrated empathy with his junior anaesthetist.
I would recommend Dr. Das, unreservedly, for his professionalism and for being an absolute gentleman.
